I’m an easy-going crafter with more ideas than time to implement them all (so far, at least). I love quirky, eclectic things which will hopefully become obvious looking through my blog or Etsy shop. I love technological and kitchen gadgets. I drink tea and don’t much care for even the smell of coffee, though I wish I did! I love watching TV shows on DVD or on Netflix, like: Doctor Who, Fringe, Pushing Daisies and Quantum Leap. I like alphabetizing things. I love baking but loathe the cleanup afterwards. I love how the Internet with sites like Twitter can bring us closer to people we would not otherwise meet. I love exchanging how-tos, ideas and techniques. I try not to arbitrarily limit myself or my experiences and I hope the website reflects that!

I like problem solving and coming up with new ways to do traditional things. I believe handmade traditions and the continuation of those and development of new practices are important for the craft community and beyond. Partaking in the handmade, DIY community, whether by making your own things or supporting artists who do, can be vital to your well-being.

Last year, I started a podcast. I just did two episodes, but I’m hoping to renew the podcast in the coming months.  My first episode lays out some of my craft background, so you may find it of interest.  You can also subscribe on iTunes so you’ll be one of the first to know when I publish a new podcast.  Thanks!

What do you like? What sorts of content would you like to see on the site? Email me, tweet at me or leave a comment below and let me know!
