All of this sounds amazing! And you really made me want to declutter my makeup and cleansing products. I used to be addicted to buying cheap/clearanced makeup and beauty stuff and then hardly ever using it, but then I recently got addicted to Bare Minerals. Which isn't cheap. =( But it seems to be lasting a while, so you've just inspired me to get rid of all my old products I never use.

If your hair is naturally really curly, have you tried COing with Suave? I did that for a while, and that stuff is surprisingly great at cleansing... I just don't have curly enough hair for it to work great in the long run for me.

What else? Oh, I just found out there's a Lush store 25 minutes from me, and I'm kind of scared to go, because I'll spend a lot of money, heh.

And also, yay for the weight loss challenge! Sounds like you guys are doing great! =)

Wow! The package arrived much more quickly than I expected - even for priority mail! I'm honored that you will be gifting some to your friend's daughters as well. I hope the jewelry helps to make the cruise an even more memorable experience for all of them! You are most welcome, Jan!! :)

Misty, You are one fabulous and crafty gal. I got the packages and I can't thank you enough! Now I can send something beautiful to my friend Sebrina and her two lovely daughters. They are the age of you and Kara. In 2 short days 3/21/11 a year will have passed since they lost their dad and Sebrina her husband. He was a wonderful person who lived just 8 short months after a lung cancer diagnosis. He was only 56 years old. They are going on a cruise together soon and now they will look lovely! I love how art in any medium can add something to life. A touch of beauty in a much to often ugly and sad world! Thanks a million Jan

Comment on A Planned Wardrobe by Layla

When we moved I got rid of a TON of clothes, and it felt fantastic. My wardrobe is still not really what you'd called planned, and I'd love to work on that! I'd probably be happy with just 2 pairs of jeans, and some other pants (I have gray velvet pants that I love, and I think I'd like a pair of corduroy. I'd like more long-sleeve Tees for layering, tops that can be both casual and dressy, a few easy skirts, some cardigans and lightweight sweaters, a couple of dresses (at least one sweater dress) and - believe it or not - several pairs of leggings. I like wearing skirts through the fall, and leggings keep me warm. =)

Man, that sounds like a lot of stuff... now you got me motivated to work on this stuff in a more productive way. I may report back about how it goes. =)

Thanks, Eileen! I think if it works out, I might do the podcast again in the future. We'll see how it works out. Thanks for listening to the episodes that I had put out there, though! :)

Those would be very neat places to go! I think the key to a road trip which is for the trip, and not one destination would be to space it out so you only have to drive for a few hours a day. With stopping along the way or having a bigger thing to do in the evening or morning where you stay the night and that seems it would be more manageable. But, that also seems like it would take a long time. But if the point is the trip, then that would be fine!
