When we moved I got rid of a TON of clothes, and it felt fantastic. My wardrobe is still not really what you’d called planned, and I’d love to work on that! I’d probably be happy with just 2 pairs of jeans, and some other pants (I have gray velvet pants that I love, and I think I’d like a pair of corduroy. I’d like more long-sleeve Tees for layering, tops that can be both casual and dressy, a few easy skirts, some cardigans and lightweight sweaters, a couple of dresses (at least one sweater dress) and – believe it or not – several pairs of leggings. I like wearing skirts through the fall, and leggings keep me warm. =)

Man, that sounds like a lot of stuff… now you got me motivated to work on this stuff in a more productive way. I may report back about how it goes. =)

Those would be very neat places to go! I think the key to a road trip which is for the trip, and not one destination would be to space it out so you only have to drive for a few hours a day. With stopping along the way or having a bigger thing to do in the evening or morning where you stay the night and that seems it would be more manageable. But, that also seems like it would take a long time. But if the point is the trip, then that would be fine!

Jason and I keep talking about a road trip where the trip is the point, not the destination. I do not enjoy time in the car and we’re usually anxious to get where we’re going so we can see who we’re seeing. This means we miss a lot on the way.

And just today he suggested that we plan a “not specifically to see anyone” trip, possibly towards D.C. He wants to see the Smithsonian and I would like to go back.

We also really like wax museums, but there don’t seem to be a whole lot of those besides the big ones.
